You take AI avatar videos generated from HeyGen (or our Avatar Video tool) and turn them into scroll-stopping, viral-grade short videos using your editing skills. We do not invent from zero โ€” we recreate videos that have already proven they go viral, using our own avatar, and we edit them better than the original creator did.

The Goal (Read This Twice)

  • If a video has gone viral, we make our own version of it with our avatar โ€” same concept, same script, same everything.
  • Our edit must be better than the original editor's. Always. That is the standard.
  • Top-notch, relatable, animation-rich, psychology-driven, and a hook that stops the scroll in 3 seconds.

Editing must be top-notch and cannot be left lacking anywhere. If a video's editing is not better than the original and does not meet this bar, that is a direct failure of the role. Not meeting this goal can lead to termination โ€” we will not continue working with editors who do not hit this standard. This is stated plainly so there is no confusion.

4 โœ‚๏ธ Edit it better than the original Edit with top-notch skills: strong 3-second hook, heavy animations, relatable pacing, human-psychology-driven structure. The final must beat the original edit.
5 โœ… Deliver & report Deliver the finished short and log it in your Daily Task Sheet / daily report (which viral video it was based on + the link).

Every person on the video editing team has a daily commitment. This is the floor, not the target. "Just one" is the minimum โ€” more is always welcome.

Video Type Commitment Rule

๐ŸŽฌ Long video 1 every 3 days A long video gets 3 days for one video. Still a continuous commitment โ€” one long video must land every 3 days.

Even on a day inside a 3-day long-video build, you still report progress. Zero-output days without a reported reason are a violation.

๐ŸŽฏ Exactly What We Are Looking For

This is specific on purpose. Do not "find something good." Follow this exactly so there is zero confusion about what counts.

  1. Go to the Instagram profile of the creators we follow / take concept ideas from. We pick the best videos already out there on Instagram that are getting viral views.
  2. Find their average views. Scan the grid โ€” what does a normal video on this account do? Example: if almost every video sits around 100 or 1,000 views, that is their baseline / average.
  3. Find the viral outlier โ€” the exact threshold. If the account's average is ~100 or ~1,000 views and one video has performed over 100,000 views, that video is viral. Crossing 100,000 views (while the baseline is only ~100โ€“1,000) = viral. Use that one.
  4. Recreate THAT video. Use the same hook, the same script at the start and at the end, and everything in between โ€” for our own avatar. Do not change the winning hook or the opening/closing script; that is what made it go viral.
  5. Edit it better than them. Our version must out-edit the original creator's version โ€” every single time.

๐ŸŽ™๏ธ The Voice (fixed) HeyGen already has the specific voice you must use โ€” it comes from ElevenLabs connected to HeyGen via API. Always use that pre-connected ElevenLabs voice. Do not pick a different HeyGen voice or use your own โ€” the brand voice is fixed.

File Description
Original Video The reference / master video. Study it carefully โ€” your final edit must match its style, pacing, colour, and overall feel.
Avatar Video The raw footage you will edit. This is the file you work on and submit.
Script The spoken script in the Avatar Video. Use it for syncing captions and verifying content accuracy.

โœ… Assignment Tasks

  1. Study the Original Video. Download and watch it at least twice. Observe colour grading, transitions, pacing, text overlays, and music. Take notes on specific effects โ€” your edit must match these.
  2. Edit the Avatar Video. Import it into your editing software and replicate the look and feel of the Original Video as closely as possible. Use the Script to sync captions/subtitles and verify content timing. Add B-roll, transitions, colour grade, text overlays, and background music to match the reference.
  3. Export & Submit. Export and name correctly, upload to Google Drive, and submit the Drive link.
