๐ฌ What a Digital Heroes Video Editor Does
You take AI avatar videos generated from HeyGen (or our Avatar Video tool) and turn them into scroll-stopping, viral-grade short videos using your editing skills. We do not invent from zero โ we recreate videos that have already proven they go viral, using our own avatar, and we edit them better than the original creator did.
The Goal (Read This Twice)
- If a video has gone viral, we make our own version of it with our avatar โ same concept, same script, same everything.
- Our edit must be better than the original editor's. Always. That is the standard.
- Top-notch, relatable, animation-rich, psychology-driven, and a hook that stops the scroll in 3 seconds.
๐จ The Bar Is Non-Negotiable
Editing must be top-notch and cannot be left lacking anywhere. If a video's editing is not better than the original and does not meet this bar, that is a direct failure of the role. Not meeting this goal can lead to termination โ we will not continue working with editors who do not hit this standard. This is stated plainly so there is no confusion.

๐ Daily Commitment (Mandatory)

Every person on the video editing team has a daily commitment. This is the floor, not the target. "Just one" is the minimum โ more is always welcome.

๐ฌ The Research Method (Be Exact โ No Guessing)
๐ฏ Exactly What We Are Looking For
This is specific on purpose. Do not "find something good." Follow this exactly so there is zero confusion about what counts.
- Go to the Instagram profile of the creators we follow / take concept ideas from. We pick the best videos already out there on Instagram that are getting viral views.
- Find their average views. Scan the grid โ what does a normal video on this account do? Example: if almost every video sits around 100 or 1,000 views, that is their baseline / average.
- Find the viral outlier โ the exact threshold. If the account's average is ~100 or ~1,000 views and one video has performed over 100,000 views, that video is viral. Crossing 100,000 views (while the baseline is only ~100โ1,000) = viral. Use that one.
- Recreate THAT video. Use the same hook, the same script at the start and at the end, and everything in between โ for our own avatar. Do not change the winning hook or the opening/closing script; that is what made it go viral.
- Edit it better than them. Our version must out-edit the original creator's version โ every single time.

โ Assignment Tasks
- Study the Original Video. Download and watch it at least twice. Observe colour grading, transitions, pacing, text overlays, and music. Take notes on specific effects โ your edit must match these.
- Edit the Avatar Video. Import it into your editing software and replicate the look and feel of the Original Video as closely as possible. Use the Script to sync captions/subtitles and verify content timing. Add B-roll, transitions, colour grade, text overlays, and background music to match the reference.
- Export & Submit. Export and name correctly, upload to Google Drive, and submit the Drive link.
